2 Luftwaffe buckles - orginal or repro?

Hi guys,

can you tell me your opinion about these two buckles? I am sorry about pics of the buckle with belt, but seller sent me only these, maybe it can be enough for some expert to see some signs of fake? I am a newbie and just started my own collection. Many thanks!

This buckle has been tampered with by adding a different catch and by denazifying the eagle. I would suggest passing on this one, as they aren't rare and you're bound to find a much better one if you look around hard enough...just my opinion, but this isn't a buckle I'd have in my collection...Welcome to the Forum, friend!

Hi Martin, firstly welcome to the forum, ref the buckle it stands a chance, looks like an original buckle with a field repair to the catch, any chance of better pics of the buckle?

Never seen a TR buckle with that catch. Film or theatrical props maybe?...

Well, I won these 2 auctions this week and paid 15 USD for the buckle with tampered catch and 20 USD for the other one with the belt. I can make better pics when I get the parcel. I just wanted to be sure if these buckles arent fakes, because they went quite cheap to my opinion.. All other auctions of that seller were dug originals, I think.. Do you thihk that they are worthy for that price?

Thanks Tom.. They should be two separate buckles but they look very simillar.. Unfortunatelly I dont have better pics of that buckle on the belt..
