Crank Catch Unit Marked Early Drooptail Lufty

Article about: Just in from the USA with great help from my good friend Stingray Crank catch, unit marked, LBA marked 1935 dated luftwaffe buckle Can anybody help me out on the unit mark please: St.K.II/.K

    I have a crank catch with the leather makers stamp and the 1935 date. Not as nice as these two. The crank catch spins in the side holes.

    Still need more help to decipher > St.K.II/.KG

    St mean Staffeln ? K.II = Aircraft 2 KG = Kampfgeschwader ???

    Looking more thru the previous link I posted.

    St. = Stab Headquarter (HQ)
    KG = Kampfgeschwader = Bomber Unit

    So, is K.II = KG 2 Holzhammer ? Perhaps another member can solve the remainder, or correct what I've posted

    Here is a 1936 unit marked I have - Reconnaissance aircraft units. Can compare the markings

    Really nice buckles guys. The bomber marked buckle is very nice.

    Nice, as before the leather stamp is not a buckle maker. Very early Luftwaffe
