Drop tail Friedrich Turck fake?

What do you think about this buckle?
The eagle, catch, prongs looks fake to me, only the leather tab and the stitching appears to be original
????

It looks fake to me, and the tab is recently stitched.

Maybe a copy of the Assman eagle?

.. Weller (Jeff) recently posted a real example..This one has a catch and
prongs way off IMO.. Wait for other opinions...G

Doesn't look like the one Weller posted. Is there a trademark under the prong bar? The tab does look good. It would be a nice addition to Weller's buckle. The catch is strange for an aluminum buckle. Hate the sharp cut of the prongs.

A buddy emailed me his latest buckle last week. He has been trying to buy this buckle for over 10 years and now the guys 80 and he is starting to let some stuff go.
