Lovely drop tail buckle Trommel. These types would also have seen combat. The two piece luftwaffe buckles would be the only ones truly not meant for combat. They would have been parade buckles or used with the walking out uniform.
There are lots of different luftwaffe buckles: with different eagles, construction methods and overall appearances. Just can't get enough really! Here's a sampling of some of my luft examples.
