Hello ,

a very nice LW tropic buckle .But IMO can also be a para trooper buckle .

Good sense to get it .......................

Markus why Trop buckle? There is no proof of this as of yet just speculation, same with the Heer buckles?

Hi Ben ,

as already written , IMO can also be a para trooper buckle .

A collectors friend of me has get such a buckle with same maker from a para trooper vetteran .

I only consider a Heer buckle tropical if it has a web tab. Luftwaffe is another matter. I will call any factory painted green Luftwaffe buckle tropical. I have also seen blue/black Luftwaffe buckles with web tabs, Green buckles with leather tabs, blue buckles with blue web tabs. The rules for Luftwaffe is a lot more complicated than Heer buckles.
