DDR belt question

I had a question about the DDR general's belt like this:

Are the general versions with the gold buckle rare?

The General's belt with the gold coloured buckle is fairly rare because there were far fewer Generals, but they are not very expensive as i saw a couple for sale in Berlin last year for 40 euros!..
