Found a white shirt 77 that's fairly tricky to find and dressed it with the border officer's formal jacket

    Cheers ,
how is that? the awards are in the right order - Medal For Faithful Service in the National People’s Army is placed from 5yrs to 15 yrs & the Medal of Merit of the National People's Army is placed from bronze to silver

    Hi Rene,

Here is an example of an Oberst K. Ehlert:
    DDR Collection

Firstly, the long side of a ribbon bar is always going to be the bottom row (i.e. 3 spaces at the bottom, two at the top) - to do otherwise would be very unusual. Additionally, the order of precedence here is not right - the Medal of Merit of the National People's Army is of a higher value than the service medals, so they come above. Once again, see Oberst Ehlert, who has a similar bar (looks like 20 years of service medals from left to right in the bottom row, and the merit medals from left to right in the top)

This means that your bar is a put together unfortunately. It shouldn't be too hard to rectify though
