A little bit of DDR ephemera... a Volkspolizei helpers armband and Ausweis. The Ausweis was in some need of repair when I got it, but it is the only example that I have been able to find that has actually been issued. All the ones that pop up on eBay de are blank unissued examples. The paper currency is part of a small lot that came my way, and consist of 1948 and 1958 issue notes. Click on to enlarge.

Good stuff and a nice find of the issued ausweis. I like the look of this armband and still need one myself.
