I recently purchased this old visor cap for a really low price. I noticed it might be an older model, maybe from the 60's?

The sweat diamond has unfortunately been removed, but you can see that the upper part was round. When I compare it to another hat I have from 1984, the sweatband is made of a higher quality leather and the plastic visor is lacking the typical part number on the reverse. The coloring and detailing of the staatswappen is also notably better on the cockade.

Yes, it's a two piece cockade. Quite possibly from the 70's yeah.
