Hi Douglas, you need to return the strap.
A dealer should really know better: just look a the arrangement of the rank pips: these were not worn in this manner (side by side) in the Wehrmacht (Heer/Luftwafffe).

No problem Douglas I did not buy them and they ended up selling for over $50 on ebay because the seller had them with a bunch of other original items. I doubt he even knew. I just hope you can return your board and get a refund.
