A question on my new DDR uniform
I just bought a new DDR uniform, sold by a fistful of dollars (1000 rubles) I could not miss it. I have a set of NVA junior lieutenant, combat uniform, now I bought this one to do the same, but it has some differences with some uniforms I've seen at pics. The first are the epaulletes, they are fixed at the tunic, something I think the former user made in order to use it as a common suit, the other thing I noticed was the lack of white lines supposed to be at sleeves and around the neck. What do you say?

The lack of sleeve piping would indicate that this is a service tunic pre mid 70's, possibly for Luftverteidigung (Anti aircraft) or for a military musician, since they used open collar uniforms during this period. In the mid 70's a new uniform with sleeve piping was introduced for both parade and every day service.
Then again, seeing how the epaulettes clearly aren't original to the tunic, perhaps the owner also removed the sleeve piping. So this could very well be your standard late era NVA parade tunic.
Also note the officer quality collar tabs on an enlisted/NCO level tunic.
