looking good rené ,wifey has done a grand job on the jack boots ,nice to see fritz on his feet again ,thanks for the tip on rolling the zeltbahn i might have a play around with mine now ,also i need to check my gloves to confirm if mdl too as for the mess tins i dont know as i dont own any ,but i imagine placed in the back pack

Look, I have to ask - but this is undoubtedly a really stupid question as they mass produced it - but did this 'raindrop' camo actually work? I'm just not seeing how effective it would be.

it is quite a good camo in my opinion as it disrupts the main body

and you have to think about movement with camouflage too

Hmm. It seems to me at any rate, far too regular. While it may disrupt the main body at close range, I'd be interested in just how effective it was. From a distance surely you would see the silhouette?
Sorry for being a pain - as I said I'm just not seeing 'it'.
Edit: of course this may explain why I am not in the military....

Sorry Mate I've never been in the army also. I have been out in the bush, and camo is my favorite area, but I'm far from being a expert
