I'm not sure if this is normal with this patt jacket, but this one seems to have an internal pistol pocket? correct me please if I'm wrong

a nice kick off to the new year rené with the compass and field jacket to be honest my 68 dated jacket has a pocket that feels similar ,i cant put my fingers all the way down so it must taper in this way ,i cant tell exactly on the shape though as its inside the lining
