fabe i really like the m70 and cover ,is the cover easy to source locally ,ive never seen one available here in the uk ,the stick grenade is another great addition ,also you have a nice american m56 m16 ammunition pouch if you look closely on the front below the buckle you might see a faint US ink stamp ,hope this helps ,james
THX James, I have prettymuch have no knowledge regarding US stuff...but I would love to collect together a US Vietnam war era dummy one day...
That cover (M90) is the current camo that the Hungarian army uses - so it's no as rare as the M87 cover, which was only used by special forces (para-troops, border-guards).
There are a few on-line military shops here in Hungary - this one is the best:
MAGYAR KATONAI FELSZERELÉS RUHÁK
I think Hungarian language only, but if you use google chrome, it will translate the whole site...no clue if they shipp to other countries.
Here they sell unissued M87, M90 covers, etc...only for about 10 pounds (in UK money)
that is a real helpfull link for me fabe ,thanks very much
Interesting, that they bothered with the extra expense of the joint in the handle for that added compactness.
Several other armies did without.
very nice fabe and never realised they are of a two part construction
