Article about: field flask with leather harness and woollen insulated jacket ,the ink stamp is partly illegible but i believe it could very well be dated 1972

    Very nice parka James, my local surplus shop was selling lot's of this pattern a few years ago but at the time I passed on buying any items, I wish I had now as I really like the pattern,which reminds me of Erdl

    many thanks gary yes your right it does look like us erdl ,the green almost seems luminescent ,,now for some reason i have it in my head this jacket insignia is slovakian ,if so is it a shared camo between them and czech republic ?

    It is indeed a Slovakian insignia, the Slovaks used the pattern for a while!.....

    hi paul and thanks mate your help is always appreciated ,i had it in my head the insignia didnt seem correct for czech republic so you have confirmed my doubts ,perhaps i should just simply remove the patch and hope there are no other differances between the parka's

    The pattern is not vz.95, but vz.92 used Slovač Slovak paratroopers. vz.95 look different.
