It is my favourite buckle. Fantastic beauty. Magnificent study of details, a high relief. It is known, that these buckles are found out at factory Assmanna one or several boxes with buckles. How you think, how many all these buckles in the world????
Why this buckle has not been officially started in mass production??? It is a lot of riddles, it is not enough answers.....
P.S. I hope I will soon get in silver.

A spectacular LaPo buckle Vlad ! The silver versions do appear "on the market" from time to time, although I think that they are slightly more difficult to find than the gold variants. There is also as you know, a "field grey" version of this LaPo buckle.

Other than that, really not an awful lot to say as this super quality Assmann product is a real mystery and is still the subject of numerous theories.

As a minor note, the buckle is clearly displayed within a period Assmann catalogue.

I must admit and from past experience, that I always thought that the silver LaPo was the harder of the two to find. Having said that, either are now a very, very difficult buckle to secure and buy.
