I haven't seen a tabbed one of these on here, so I thought I'd post mine. Stamped J. Felix Sohne 1942. The leather is definitely cheaper than any earlier one I've encountered and the rough side is out.

Very nice late Police buckle. Is the leather pebbled. It looks like it may be and if so it is pigskin. Many of theses late tabs were produced from pigskin. Probablly easier to obtain.

It doesn't appear to be pebbled, but interestingly, the color of the leather on the inside where it is sewn and not visible is a lighter color. Kind of a greyish. I've tried to take a pic. Maybe you'll be able to see it. Thanks for the kind comments. rick
