Beauty buckle. These are so nice. I have always liked these types of buckles.

The aluminum buckle as shown with post one was mentioned in a post-war leaflet from
the Overhoff concern as article-number 0797/45 mm, being for Reitervereine (horse-
riding clubs). The horse symbol was in use at the provinces of Hannover (galloping),
Westphalia and Braunschweig (as with post 7).

I have seen both designs referred to as post-war police buckles for Niedersachsen [Lower Saxony]. The cities of Hannover and Braunschweig are both located in Niedersachsen.
