Hello!
This refers to buckle feldzhandarmerii.
Kirilla,
Thank you for posting the photo of your excellent buckles but I am not sure what the word "feldzhandarmerii" means. I tried to do a search on the Forum and nothing comes up and I also pasted it into a German to English translator with no luck.
Could you or one of the members tell me what this word means and the type of each buckle shown? Or are they all Police? Thanks, Bob
feldzhandarmerii is a strange word, maybe a German member will translate, broken down I can read "field hand" but the armerii but confuses me unless is means something like field armed police?
Ben
I think the word is Feldgendarmerie. If that is what he means.
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature with no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
Grey finish, this battle of the police
I have studied this question.
And he gathered together for 7 years, this collection of buckles.
I have a good picture about this
