This one popped up for sale recently for an nice price and the condition is overall excellent. Even though unmarked I liked it. So, is this a Rural Police buckle, and any idea on the maker? On the main thread Kirby posted an unmarked very similar to this one

Very nice buckle Jeff, as a guess I would say Assmann produced, from the pebbled rear and the stitching, I have seen other buckles by Assmann with that shaped stitching on the tab, again mucker just an educated guess from the details provided

A very nice buckle but you can't really call it a Rural Police Buckle. The bulk of Police buckle have brown tabs. Now if you can find a orangish brown belt then it would be a Rural Police set.
