Hello all,
What were these called again?
They are not like the normal pebbled buckles, but more spiked.

Normal late-war buckle.
An original pattern buckle but not the normal belt. That looks like a Heer dress belt with most of it's backing. Nice looking cartouche. The chain thing I think is referred to as a come along.

Kirby,
I appreciate the reply. Do you feel this is a normal late-war pattern buckle as well? I see few of these which is why I ask, as most of the time late-war stuff is more plentiful.
I've never seen these come along cuffs before and would be interested to know more about them; I was just going to list them on eBay as I have no clue of their value. Were these only TR era use?

William, these buckle are a bit of an enigma, no one knows the maker but late war it is presumed they are, look at the quality of these for a start, they are no very well made, so for my personal opinion very late war buckles.

To me they are an alloy, if that is aluminium it is poorest quality aluminium around at that time, more like monkey metal
