That RZM mark on the DAK looks like it may have done the trick if someone may have bought it for $250 but there is a lot of people out there with more money than sense .
If i was thinking of spending money like that I would be posting on here for a thumbs up or down.
I wish I had plenty of cash to Sam.
And Nick I think it would break your heart if you got rid of all your EKs even if was for such a rare wound badge.
Regards
Rod
You are probably right there Rod, but I have seriously often contemplated selling them for an RK !!

Nice !!!
Sadly I only do TR. A bit short sighted of me maybe as the quality of 57's and WW1's are outstanding

No don’t do it ! I would rather have a lot of interesting things than just one or two very interesting things. You wouldn’t be able to call it a collection. You might get your premium bonds up sometime.

Depends what you have , my S and L Micro 800 made in the early 80's still compares quite well to my original one !!

Re: Gold wound badge Adolf Hitlers Wolf Lair bomb survivors
The thing about the early 57ers is that they were more likely to have been bought and worn by vets than the later made, collecter editions.
Hence the high cost of the 1st pattern core RKs compared to the 2nd. Mine cost me a hair under $1000 and is the single most expensive award I own even against my TR pieces! Go figure!
