I've been offered this cased silver wound badge. Does it look ok? He's wanting £175 UKP, does that not seem expensive?

Hey Lenny... Looks like the catch may have been repaired or twisted... L/56 Funcke & Bruininhaus ?
Just my thoughts and hope all works out in your favor... G
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
The catch is actually as it was made and not repaired. However the hinge, although original to my mind, has been re soldered. This and the price for this badge and etui negate it for me, no serious collector would entertain a damaged cased badge at this price.
Edit: The leftward opening catch is typical on these F&B wound badges.
Regards, Ned.

Cheers guys, my mate got screwed then, he paid way over the odds. He offered me this and an EK Spange (fake). I'll pass on both then, 😞

Damn Ned. Your knowledge humbles me. I wish I wasn't so damned lazy and would study this area in detail.
Cold beer in the summer time and rum and coke in the winter precludes serious study time. Mama gets in the way once in a while but as I age that happens less and less. Alcohol doesn't help either.
