I don't see anything wrong with it...hardware is good, a privately purchased badge in my opinion...Price may seem a bit high at first glance, but considering its excellent condition you'll have a hard time finding another one as good as this...

I have seen and owned many of these over the years and helmets and swastikas will vary. I like the badge posted, but like most of the items out there I would love to see it in hand. It is more accurate to refer to these as 1st pattern 1936-39 wound badges, since most of these were awarded in the early days of WWII and not for wounds acquired in Spain.

Here's another more worn example that sold the same day it was put up. Note the misnomer, again perpetuating the 'Condor Legion' title that is erroneous. It should be remembered that this 1st pattern design badge was also awarded for the Polish campaign in '39 and in some cases France in '40.
