I thought I would post this for reference purposes, as I think it has issues and is a fake. The most obvious fault is in the pebbling but also the pin type and/or it's location. Any more informed opinions and criticisms of this would be welcome. Sadly I bought this as an original a number of years back and only found out it was a dud a while later.

Hi Jerry, sadly you are correct. One of the main give-aways is the pebbled background and the very regimented circular design to the dots.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Thanks Ade,

I mentioned about the pebbling in my post and I knew this was the obvious giveaway.

That will teach me to read the text and not just look at the pics eh?

I remember these were being sold by a company in Tamworth (UK). EA Medals or the like? That is about the limit of my knowledge on these.

    Cheers, Ade.

I think we all do this, no worries. Thanks for the extra info. It was after buying this that I stopped collecting medals, it put me off so much.
