Is this piece late war? The workmanship is very crude. Interesting!

Why late war????????? it is between Legion Condor and the second Form. Hardly to find,
I would have thought that the workmanship would have been of higher quality, being pre-war....but apparently this notion doesn't always hold true! It's still a fascinating piece!

It is made, on the outside, like the WWI pieces with the M16 Helmet. But the HELMET you have to look for. M35 of the second Form........
Certainly. What I was referring to, is the poor metal work as seen from the inside. The badge itself is unquestionable, but the Quality of the work making it is surprisingly low.

This one is quite interesting. It's the first time I have seen this one in silver allthough I have seen quite a few examples in black.
I don't see a lack of quality that William sees but I think these examples must have come from one individual maker.
I guess we will never know who the maker was.
