just a question

hi guys.
i am new to this section of the forum.
i was looking in the classifieds at a wound badge in silver marked bh mayher.
and a iron cross 2nd class marked 4 with envelope.
but thay look like new.
i would like to start collecting badges but have been stung before
so just trying to make sure every thing is original.

Hi Noble and welcome to this area of the forum!
Don't be put off by the fact some items look like new. I and many others here have pieces in our respective collections that look like they were made yesterday. The look of an item is only one factor in determining originality. A piece made yesterday can be made to look seventy years old and a piece which is seventy years old can look like new. I think I know the particular pieces you mention and both are original.
You did the right thing by asking the question though and to avoid getting stung, please continue to ask until you've become more experienced in what to look for, the guys here are very willing to help and advise.

I think it is more than safe on the warrelics classifieds. I have dealt with few sellers and got some good deals for really nice items.
