Wink My first Verwundetenabzeichen Im Schwarz!

I went to a local militaria show today, in search of a Black wound badge, and spent hours walking the hall looking at varying badges, most of them were nicer, but were highly priced, and unmarked. I was looking at some Flak badges, when i saw a BWB in the corner of a shadow box and asked to see it, it was priced at 50$ US which was less than the others i had examined, but was marked EH/126!

I also had the pleasure of meeting Bob Hritz at the show, who is a moderator of this great site and had him examine my badge to make sure i had not acted foolishly!

Good for you! A nicely marked badge and bought on your own merits too.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Thank you gentlemen! While Bob was examining the badge, he mentioned it has a rather nice patina, almost as if it had seen combat!
