    The chance of it being original and in Australia is about 0%. Its details and finish look poor so i would say this is yet another copy or a very very rare badge.

    Yep, it's pretty awful and all the original badges are accounted for I think.

    As for the placing of this thread; I don't think it could be further away from where it should be

    If this were a original 1944 badge then it would be very very costly, and you would be a very lucky person.

    You said "made in 1960's".
    So it means probably a souvenir badge.

    With AH signature.
    Just miss the SS runes...
