Default New badges- Gold Verwundetenabzeichen and KVK1 mit Schwertern

These have been posted here by me before, when I asked for opinions, but I am pretty excited about these two new purchases. I had to share them! Just two questions:

    1. I now have Klein u. Quenzer wound badges in silver and gold. Are there '65' marked wound badges in black? It would be nice to have a complete set by the same maker.

    2. What is the maker of my KVK? I have read about 3 different makers for L/15 and I want to get it right.

    Thanks guys!

    Hi Mo,
Which three makers have you seen for L/15? Otto Schickle is the only maker that used L/15 and only for the four months they were in business after receiving their LDO licence.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

It was advertised as Friedrich Orth, and then I read a thread on WAF somewhere about having to confirm Schickle as being L/15. I can't remember the other one that someone else suggested. I was thinking it was in fact Schickle but I wanted to be sure. Thanks for your help.

I quite like the patina on my KVK.

    L/15 was Otto Schickle.
L15 was used by Friedrich Orth, despite their LDO number being L/14.

    Confused.com?

So.......... is the mark on your KVK L/15 or L15? (Note the difference between the two, one has the L and the 15 seperated by a /, the other doesn't).

So if it is L/15 (with the forward slash) it would be an Otto Schickle made award.

Here's to it! I've just raised the cold mug of coffee that I made and forgot about to you Mo, good luck!
I had to settle for the 1957 versions.
