L/15 was Otto Schickle.
L15 was used by Friedrich Orth, despite their LDO number being L/14.

Confused.com?

So.......... is the mark on your KVK L/15 or L15? (Note the difference between the two, one has the L and the 15 seperated by a /, the other doesn't).

....and to confuse things more 15 is the PKZ number for Orth !

I second what Nick has said, K&Q did make black wound badges. Here is mine.

Thanks for the pics of your K&Q black wound badges, guys. They look nice and minty.

I'll keep an eye out for one in any condition. I'm sure it shouldn't be too hard to find. The wound badge in black is that one common item that I seem to just have never come across.
