Re: Real or fake
It always best to post before you buy if your not completely positive of a items authenticity Fitzer. That being said, it's your money and yours to do with as you wish. I'm not mad at you, lol. If you like it, go for it. I will say though, from these crappy pictures provided, the hue of the black seems a bit off. Almost a little dull, so possible repaint? It could be a example I've never seen of course.

Re: Real or fake
Hello Fitzer
I have just received the photos that I requested & the badge shows the hallmarks
of a chaos pattern fake. It could of course be the dodgy quality of the photos sent
& I suggest posting yours when you get them for clarification one way or the other.

Re: Real or fake
I know I know I'd a few beers on me and jumped in! Lesson learnt !worst scenario is I spend €20 and get a decent looking badge , if I lose then happy days .

Re: Real or fake
Never try and buy original TR decorations on auction sites unless you really do know what you're bidding on.
You can't show the full item on ebay as the swastika will always be covered. Don't try and bag a bargain and lose out when you can spend just a little more and buy one from a fellow collector or a reputable dealer with a return guarantee, better images to work from and the chance to post it here before you buy.
It's just not worth the risk as a new collector.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Re: Real or fake
The photos hide more than they show...Personally, I would never buy based on such photos...Good luck!
