semi relic silver verwundetenabzeichen maker?

Article about: For me it's a Wiedmann. The hardware this SWB is seen on their Allgemeine Sturmabzeichen's,Infanterie Sturmabzeichen's & PKA's. Possibly more but those are the ones that spring to mind.

Hmm. There is some debate on this style of Verwundetenabzeichen as to whether they were made by Deschler or Weidmann. Going by the reverse hardware I am going to take a stab it it being a Weidmann. No doubt I will be corrected if I'm wrong!

    Hello Adrian,

The same answer I was given previously, Deschler or Weidmann, but no one was willing to decide either way, so maybe I'll go with your answer, a Weidmann it is!

Regards and thanks for the quick answer to what I understand to be a difficult question.

To throw a spanner in the works I say Deschler. I am going by the hardware.

    Cheers, Ade.

I think the best we can say is it might definitely be one or the other and there is a 50/50 chance of a possibility of it perhaps being maybe from one of those makers. Does that help clear things up?

Thanks Ade & Adrian, you have really helped on deciding the issue of the maker of this SWB!!!!

As I posted earlier, this is much the same response as I got when I asked the same question on another forum, but maybe one day the answer will become known, after lots of meditation, or from future research.

Glad I could set you a poser, which must be an uncommon situation, a question to which the answer is not known.

Regards and thanks for taking the time to post your opinions.
