I'm not a fan of the E-metals example, the pebbling between the sword hilts looks sloppy.
I've been told, E-metals can be dodgy, so not the best reference.
That's good to know, I will keep looking.
The Collectors Guild is good, Weitze too but they obscure any TR symbols but they should show hardware clearly.
I've been looking for quite some time on this one and can't find another example that matches the back. I guess that if it is original then it's either been re-pinned etc or made late in the war with what was at hand. It's in my collection already, I brought it a long time ago when I was new to collecting so its here to stay. I may find another Gold example more easily identifiable in the future to be sure.

Hi Wilko,
Check this thread Verwundetenabzeichen 1939 in Silber L/15
Can it be a match to yours?

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature with no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
Brett is very good with wound badges, his comments are very accurate and I agree with him. It is really not hard to find another example which one have questions hanging over it and be always a maybe piece, i can only imagine you are so set on it because of the price, i would suggest finding another as well.

Hi Jonas. The hinge on Wilco's gold sits lower than that of the silver Schickle in your supplied link. Still, you may very well have hit the nail on the head with this one.
Regards
Brett
