    Original Carl Wild example, could be brass due to the green oxidation or just plain steel, whatever, it won't affect the price in this case I think. Value is what you're prepared to pay, I would say between 20-25 Euro's.

    Thanks for your help, this precipitate So it may be just the patina? I still question whether this badge is brass?

    It wouldn't hurt to ask the vendor, but makes no real difference in the price of this piece I think. Ask him to check it with a magnet, then you'll know.
