Hello Marc
This badge looks like no Hauptmunzamt 30 that I have ever seen. It does however look a lot like the following black badge.
The noticeable difference is the knot on the bow.

I think you got yourself a stunner. The finish is very minty. I believe this is in fact the correct catch for the wide pin.

Brett you might actually be right here. I was a little to fast with my judgement on this one.
I did compare it with my own one which is on the forum here and a good one.
If this is a fake its a very good one in my opinion. One thing i am missing for sure is the little dot on the rear side of the helmet. I think the lower part of the helmet is a little thin. I wonder how they faked the circles in the back of it.
