That's why....Just enough to get a bite. It's getting very rare these days to find a real bargain genuine piece in this game...... DK's for $7.00 excepted of course. Dealer price is 200-250 Euro's with cased ones easily 300+.

    Regards, Ned.

Just remember to post all prospective purchases here first and all this unnecessary toing and froing and disappointment can be avoided. This point is often ignored for reasons unknown to me, perhaps guys think that if they show it here first, someone will jump in and pinch it from under their nose? I think although not impossible, it's unlikely, and know which way I would go if I was unsure of any item I was interested in. Worth bearing in mind.

    Regards, Ned.

    You are right Ned !
BUT I´ve tried to hesitate to be on the safe side, and lost a few good deals. Sometimes time matters.
And in this case I was not in doubt, due to my ignorance in study and the exeptionally good quality of the badge :-(
It´s been returned, so no harm done exept the dissapointment :-O

With prices pushing $300-$350 (CDN) for authentic '30'
marked gold grade badges, it's no wonder the fakers
are busy making them. This one does have some
glaring inconsistencies, as pointed out, but it
    is rather well made.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

Well made maybe....But a 5 minute search for a genuine Hauptmunzamt wound badge will clearly show the obvious inconsistencies when compared to the OP's fake badge. Put side by side they are glaring, and you only need a set of eyes to see what's what, in this particular case it's that EASY there really is no excuse. Just do the homework fella's.

    Regards, Ned
