DAZZA3483, i wish i could blow those images up, but from here it looks good.

what do you think? the material is all laid out. do you think this one matches your old one in dot pattern more closely or Rene's?

do i see the dots running up under that sword blade nice and tight? it looks like it from here.

i wonder if big ned has the time, i wonder if he could import some facts over from that link he provided for the other site which apparently discusses this topic.

Rene, thanks for getting that incredible close up.

I didn't mean to make you run for the camera, but you see how useful that shot was for discussion!

    Hi all,

I have been following this thread and maybe I have been ‘Floched’ as well with my gold L/53. My gold looks different from the silver ones that have been showed in this thread; different catch and placement of L/53. Maybe just those two things proof it to be a fake?

From the very detailed explanation from tempelhof I can see for example that the tool mark at the pin bend is a single discreet point, as seen on the silver fake one as well. But I cannot spot all the fake points that has been raised in this thread.

I hope we can determine if my gold is a good one or not?

    Thanks
    Jonas

i would stand with rbminis with this one.

this badge has a different hardware setup and defaulting to the obverse the details are right on. the hardware is a variant that is accepted.

i would be fine owning this example.
