Verwundetenabzeichen 1939 in Silber - B.H. Mayer "26"

Hi,

Wanted to get the opinion about this tombac B.H. Mayer marked "26" that I just acquired. To me this is an early variant since the most common "26" are the ones in zink with integrated hinge/catch.
