Well, I have broken the ice so to speak.
My first wound badge by Hauptmunzampt Wein 30 has arrived. Since these are "fairly" common, I decided that a tapered pin would be in order. Not mint but slightly used. I'll let the photos do the talking on this one.

I like it! I'm looking for one like it in the case to go with my "30" GWB.

I've been buying as close to mint as possible to this point, but I'm kind of getting the bug to get more used versions of my favorite pieces, some that show they were definitely in the thick of it. Unless it's been poorly taken care of by someone postwar, it's hard say there is such a thing as an inferior TR collectible, just variations of historical activity.
