Black Wound Badge, medal itself is numbered "81" on the back for the maker and location "Overhoff & Cle, Ludenscheid".
Is this Original Black Wound Badge?
Thank you

I compared with another 81 taken from the website of the collectors guild and noted both different hinge and catch types and catch location to yours. This made me suspicious. Check the link below...
The Collector's Guild
However further research found a discussion on the Wehrmacht awards forum where an 81 identical to yours was given the thumbs up. Perhaps there was 2 hinge types for the Overhoff & Cle or the 81 on the collectors guild site is dodgy.
I'm tending to think your 81 is a good one.

Thank you all on your comments,
I was just suspicious on the detail at the back if you look at the sword on the left i don't see the line that runs through the middle, don't know if it's just the way the picture was taken, but read about #81 that they are the most common WB, and that some people would try and paint them in gold and silver and try to sell them as such.
