Verwundetenabzeichen in black. Thoughts?

Article about: Picked this up the other day. It looked good to me, so I was not concerned buying it. Hopefully I was right. Is this an early war example? Thanks for looking!

Hi, the type of pin and catch used here looks like the style used by Hauptmuzamt, Wien. If marked, it would be the # 30. Looks like a good badge in black.
    Hope this helps. K.

Thanks Kevin! I liked it, and now the last of the "regular" TR wound badges I need is the gold.

    Thanks!
Where would it be marked? On the pin? Could, in the absence of a makers mark, anyone say with certainty that it is a 30?

It should be marked like this. This is an example sold on militariaplaza.

It is not marked there. Have to see how closely it compares to a known example. Is there evidence of unmarked 30s? It would be cool to be able to id a maker. My silver is marked 100.

There is definitely no maker mark on this badge. I took some better pictures of the hardware. Possibly a match to a 30?
