I'm not well up on these badges and the variations of them but comparing to other original L22s I'm not keen on it as the hinge is wrong and also the catch, apart from the fact this one opens to the left, not the normal right. Based upon this, I would say fake but get a few more opinions from other members.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Replaced hinge? There looks to be an outline of a rectangle beneath it...

I sold this one, so I hope the new owner doesn't mind me using the image for comparison purposes, but this was the L/22 silver badge I had.
Now that one is spot on !
