    Hello Mate
I strongly suspect that this badge is an offering from the Japanese Bekkoame/Schmidt & Sohn re-enactment reproduction company. These badges all have a noticeable thinning of the wreath at the left hand sword tip whether they be solid or cut-out and will run the full gamut as far as hardware variations are concerned. I will hesitantly give you a link to the Bekkoame catalogue. I say hesitantly, because I supplied this on another thread and when you look now you have to click past the Viglink shopping site link that appears. You will however get to the Bekkoame/Schmidt & Sohn website, and by scrolling down you will find the badge design in question with the latest hardware incarnation.

Edit: Ignore the gibberish on the link. You can click on the ne.jp and it will take you to the catalogue. Sorry mate, I am not overly computer savvy!

    I hope this works.

    Regards
    Brett

Perhaps a Mod can link this to the other thread to avoid confusion.
