Dear all,
May I have your opinions on this badge please ? And if it is a good one, who do you think the maker was (unmarked "Hauptmünzamt Wien" ?) ?
Personally I like it but I would like to be sure. I may well buy it from a guy that I know who is selling his father's collection.

A good badge maybe a carl wilde......difficult to be sure

I don't believe this is a Carl Wild as they are usually found to be maker marked.
You can compare to this silver of mine, and a discussion around the hinge and a possible connection to Hauptmünzamt Wien
Verwundetenabzeichen 1939 in Silber, Unmarked.
It would appear that your friend's father's collection has a mix of original and reproduction badges.
