Evening gents, I have had a "hole" in my collection for a while now (30+ years) and it is a nice gold grade wound badge! I am considering this one as I personally like awards to appear worn/used and this one fits the bill as so many in this grade are "minty" in boxes. I think it is a nice good honest piece by the Schauerte u. Hohfeld concern, but your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Leon.

    Nice Leon!
I suggest you go for it as well, if the price is right.

I'm not seeing any problems with it-aside from the small bit of gilt that has faded. As said, if a decent price, it would certainly fit nicely into most anyone's collection! Good luck!

2 great examples. When you consider what a person had to do to receive one of these badges, it makes them even More impressive-and poignant...
