    Hello Gents
Nothing wrong with this badge. As previously mentioned this setup can be found on
65 marked Klein & Quenzer badges. It will also be seen on some 81 marked Overhoff
    & Cie badges.

    Regards
    Brett

Glenn, it looks like a similar pin set up as mine. The numbers on yours look a bit different, maybe. I think I can see the number,"8" on yours.
I never really saw a number on mine until recently. I couldn't read it until tonight, though! The laser pointer lens helped a bit. I thought it said either '33','35' or '65' which I believe it's the latter according to the earlier post by "BooBoo"
I see what looks to be a 33 or 35. Now, was it put there by the maker or are our eyes playing tricks on us, I haven't a clue.

That's a nice badge Glenn. I have one in similar condition. I love the low dip helmet
    shape on the L/56 Blacks.

    Regards
    Brett

Edit: I believe the badge posted by Glenn in post # 5 is a 81.
    You're not seeing things Dean

Honestly, the impression is so light, I'm not quite sure what I see, if anything.
