Verwundetenabzeichen im Silber '65'

Hello folks.

Finally, my first silver wound badge! This one came from Aleks and Dmitri at Espenlaub Militaria.

A zinc award, with some light bubbling under the silvering. Maker marked '65' for Klein & Quenzer, Idar Oberstein. A lot of the finish on the obverse is gone, but the metal underneath is nice and bright. It looks fantastic when it catches the light.

Now I just need a gold class badge!

Nice Brodie, and in the right condition I think. You are going to be keen to get the gold now and make the set.
I myself am trying to do the same but all of the same maker -Carl Wild 107.

The gold class may not materialise for some time. I've got plans for my militaria funds until early next year, but there's no rush. Will take my time and look out for a good one!
