Hello,
I'd be grateful if anyone could advise me if this badge is real or fake.
(Apologies for colour on the 2nd picture)
If it is real, what would be a reasonable price for me to pay?
Kind regards,
Joey.

Did you color out the Swastika? In paint or something?
The swastika is indeed obliterated, not by me but by the person selling the badge.
I think it was done using a simple software package like Paintshop pro or something similar.
Hi there, welcome to the forum. From the pics i'm sceptical,W/B's aren't my thing but i would not buy it on the strength of those pics, sorry. Stewy
Hi Joey
This could be a good 30 "Hauptmunzamt Vienna".
The price is hard to tell based on these pictures considering we can't see the true colour of this badge, thus not knowing if this is a Silver or a Gold class and in wich state it currently is.
I would aks the seller for better pictures and post them here first before buying...

Hi Stewy
That could be anything (bad casting, corrosion, ...), thats why I need some good pictures cause these won't do to give a descent opinion on this badge...

It's not paint hat's on it, the seller used a "Contrast" filter, like on Photoshop..
I know those things because Iam an advertiser myself and I use those programs to retouch advertisement pics.
look at this one...
The badge that started this thread at the very least has a replaced pin. The hinge doesn't look great,as Nick said better pics needed really. Stewy
