It is not tombac ( brass ), but a war-time zinc type. I think some folks get confused
between the two. It appears to be a good quality unmarked badge.
The price is ok as well.........

A genuine badge, but has the pin hinge been repaired? Also, it's abit difficult in the photo to tell-how much of the silver finish is on this badge? Even so, $70 is not a bad price.

I am not expert but looking at pictures of SWB marked 4 it seems to me that it is unmarked 4 (S&L)
